About Johnathon

I’ve spent the past eleven years working in healthcare and wellness (accumulating over 500 hours in yoga-specific training), witnessing firsthand how chronic stress shapes both mental and physical health. As a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, much of my work centers on managing chronic disease, coordinating care, and helping patients build sustainable habits that support long-term wellbeing.

My work as a yoga teacher complements my clinical background. It shapes how I listen, how I hold space, and how I guide people towards a deeper mind-body connection. I have found myself at the intersection of evidence-based medicine and embodied practice; I’ve come to realize that simple practices, done consistently and intentionally, can profoundly regulate the nervous system and influence overall health. 

My goal is to meet you exactly where you are and walk alongside you as we forge a path forward together.

My Offerings:

Group Yoga Classes (In-Person)

I teach two weekly yoga classes and occasional workshops.

Tuesdays: 7p - 8:15p | Heated Flow (JP Centre Yoga)

Thursdays: 5:30p - 6:30p | Vinyasa Yoga (Equinox, Chestnut Hill)

Private Sessions

Private sessions are great because unlike a public group class, we have an opportunity to work one-on-one towards any movement or mindfulness goals you have. Whether you are new to yoga and want to establish a solid foundation, are rehabing an injury and want to develop a more optimal approach to movement, or you’d like some more tools for your stress-management toolbox, this is the place for you!
